The view over the marshes, alone, makes this worth the trip but as an added bonus the food is also fantastic!
The menu in the main restaurant boasts plenty of fresh seafood and local produce. In the summer the terrace is beautiful and they’ve diversified their offering by introducing both the Marshside and Courtyard restaurants during the summer season.
The Courtyard offers an array of delicious small plates whilst the marsh-side has a more casual approach to dining which is made all the better by being situated right next to the stunning marshes so you can sit and watch the sun go down with a crisp glass of Minuty! The front of the main building is also a pub and you can eat at those tables on a ‘walk-in’ basis.
A great, cosy pub especially in winter. There are dog-friendly tables in the bar which you can eat at or head through to the main restaurant to sample their great menu. Situated directly opposite the turning for Brancaster beach it's great place to visit after a long walk by the sea.
Tucked away in Wells in a hotel and the menu, here, features some classics and the tempura prawns are a must try!
